Let us analysis the behavioural patterns of these character. Employees with tortoise behaviour patterns tends to grow slow, individuals who goes slower often ends up late bloomers. Tortoise might not have capability to represent your company still they want to run in the race as they persevere and consistent at their job. With laser like focus these guys has ability to adapt of culture without complaining. Overall all an obedient and cool temperamental attitude.The individual who goes slower simply guarantees that he has everything prepared before he blooms.
On the hand the hare is capable to win the race with his immaculate confidence if he could overcome inconsistency and overconfidence. It is well said that "Overconfidence will down you in the sea of reality". I believe if the company hire employee like a hare will probably experience lots of excitement in the beginning however a bit disappointment later if they could not provide enough challenges, since Hare is not here to stay but to perform.
Right direction is more important than speed as many are going nowhere fast. The hare always ready to represent your company and clearly best for given task however the only trouble is they think they have time. How could they lose?

Tortoise need someone who Inspire them to Run, train them, Encourage and Support them in leading the given task whereas Hare needs someone who teach them to pick up the right task and perform consistently to lead. So whom should we hire for long term success a Hare or Tortoise is still an ambiguous situation.
