Most people think that they know it all when it comes to the energy and utilities that they are paying for on a regular basis. Every month a person pays the bill to one company and that's it. For instance, if one were to build a generator, or even add solar panels to a home, the cost structure would drop dramatically, improving the monthly budget of homeowners struggling to pay their utilities. 

This is not a free for all, however, as that would be quite difficult to manage. Large companies entering the marketplace still have to abide by certain regulations and rules. It may be slow to turn the corner because each state has their own laws and regulations that need to be met before changing over everything completely.

When you view a map of the deregulation of energy across states, you'll denote that not all of them are falling in line with this option. Even though federal mandates have allowed for changes to come through, state's rights still have a say in the way the changeover happens. Things are slowly shifting, however, and consumers are going to see more choices and changes happening on a regular basis. 

As this company starts to enter the marketplace, more and more people will see a beneficial move forward in terms of energy distribution. This can only be good for the consumer, as they will have options to choose from in regards to how they get their utilities, including energy. Even if the rollover is going to take some time, as each state has something to say in the matter.
